My inspiration for this eye makeup tutorial is an abstract painting I came across in Pinterest. I’ve always loved purple in brown eyes so I thought I’d make a tutorial out of it.
As you can see in the painting, colors of yellow, lilac, purple and black are present so those are what I’m gonna use for the eyeshadow shades as well
So assuming you’ve already prepped your eyelids with a primer, here’s what’s next:
STEP 1: Apply a golden eyeshadow color on your lids and inner lower lash line. I used a combination of MAC (Goldmine) and Inglot (393).
STEP 2: Pat a lilac eyeshadow color on your lids and outer half of the lash line. I used Makeup Forever (116).
STEP 3: Focusing on the crease, sweep a purple eyeshadow like Makeup Forever (92). Apply on the entire lower lash line as well.
STEP 4: Apply your darkest eyeshadow shade in black over your eye crease focusing on the outer corner of your eyes. Also apply on your outer lower lash line making sure to connect it to the upper lash line for continuity. The one I used here is Makeup Forever (04).
STEP 5: Apply a nude eyeshadow shade on your browbone to highlight like NYX (High Light). Blend, blend and blend until you achieve a gradient effect.
STEP 6: Using your black eyeliner, line your upper and lower lash line as well as waterline. I opted to barely smudge the eyeliner here for a more defined eye shape.
STEP 7: Curl your lashes then apply your black mascara and fabulous false eyelashes!
Hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial and till next time
