Ah pink lipstick! This is a shade that’s a must-have in every girl’s makeup collection. And MAC did an excellent job in creating Please Me
According to MAC, Please Me is a muted-rosy-tinted pink. I find this shade of pink to be in the middle, something that is not too light nor too dark which makes it very versatile. It also has a warm undertone so it looks fabulous on ladies with yellow or neutral skin undertones. The finish is matte and the coverage is opaque so thumbs up on the pigmentation. Just watch out if you have dry or chapped lips as this will only emphasize it. You can always scrub your lips with an exfoliator or apply a lip moisturizer first before using this.
MAC Please Me in the tube. The pink color really comes out once applied on the lips.
Here’s MAC Please Me applied on the lips.
Same with all the MAC bullet packaging on their lipsticks where you have to scan the names at the bottom to find what you need. How I wish they have at least the sticker of the shade color to make our lives easier
This retails for P1,000 in local MAC stores. But I ordered online and got it for P650 (converted from $15) .
Just like most matte lipsticks out there, MAC Please Me stays on for several hours (around 5-6 hours on me). Fill your lips with lip liner underneath it to lengthen it’s wearing time.
I honestly can’t find anything that I don’t like about MAC Please Me apart from the not-so-functional packaging. It can be used for any occasion especially on weddings where a bride needs to look naturally sweet and beautiful. Which is why it’s one of my go-to lipsticks whenever I do bridal makeup
Here’s my score board:
